The Global Plastic Treaty could be a groundbreaking step in the world's fight against plastic. As crucial negotiations take place in Ottawa, we're urging the UK government to ensure the Treaty is as strong as can be. 

Email the British Environment Minister - Rebecca Pow - calling on the UK to play an active role in securing a legally-binding approach to reduce global plastics production. 

No matter where we come from or what we do, we all have the right to live in a clean and healthy environment. Yet plastic is a slow-motion disaster for people and planet. 

It's time for all governments to prioritise the wellbeing of the planet and its citizens over the interests of polluting industries.

As the fossil fuel industry reportedly seeks to hamper negotiations*, it's crucial we pressure the Minister into helping to secure a strong Treaty that puts the world on a path towards a future beyond plastic.
