Tell Coca-Cola's CEO: Single-use plastic is NOT sustainable.

Coca-Cola is the world’s largest plastic polluter and it's sponsoring the 'greenest Olympics ever'. That's called sportswashing*.

To make matters worse, some Coca-Cola brands claim that their bottles are ‘100% recycled’ and some also claim ‘100% recyclable’ - which may suggest that bottles are recycled into other bottles in a closed loop and fully circular manner. But this simply isn’t true.

Plastic cannot be recycled on an infinite loop as the quality degrades each time.

So as the sponsor of the biggest sporting event in the world, and as the biggest plastic polluter, we think it’s time to hold Coca-Cola accountable.

Urge Coca-Cola to stop marketing single-use plastic as sustainable, by sending an email to Coca-Cola's CEO now. Your voice makes a difference.

Together we can hold large companies accountable and fight for a cleaner, healthier planet.

*According to NGO and news reports, three-quarters of the 9 million drinks planned for sale will come from plastic bottles.
