The screening of the Ocean documentary offers a unique opportunity to raise awareness of Members of the European Parliament about the impacts of destructive fishing practices, such as bottom trawling, including inside marine protected areas.

A few months after UNOC 3, this event will gather eminent panelists and experts who will dive into the challenges and opportunities in the current EU ocean policy context, including with the implementation and enforcement of existing EU legislation can help, and the opportunities of the upcoming Ocean Act.

The event will be held in English.
